How we price this in Austria

Austria national base ranges come from named Austrian cost-guide and parts sources. We localize them with Statistik Austria Verdienststrukturerhebung 2022 regional wage relatives (there is no Austrian equivalent of the U.S. Regional Price Parity, so the price and overhead terms stay at the national baseline). The national base wage is occupation-specific (ÖISCO-08 group 74 electricians/electronics trade, mean gross hourly €20.00), but the nine Bundesland relatives come from the VSE 2022 general regional wage index (median hourly pay across all occupations per state), because no official table breaks this occupation down by state. VAT is 20% Austria-wide (standard rate), but many small repair firms fall under the small-business scheme (Kleinunternehmerregelung, § 6 (1) 27 UStG 1994) and charge none — so treat 20% as a ceiling. Prices are in euros and never converted from another currency. The full formula, weights, clamp, and source vintages are on the methodology page.
