How we price this in the UK

UK national base ranges come from named UK cost-guide and parts sources. We localize them with ONS ASHE 2025 regional wage relatives (there is no UK equivalent of the U.S. Regional Price Parity, so the price and overhead terms stay at the national baseline). VAT is standard-rated at 20% UK-wide, but many small repairers fall under the £90,000 registration threshold and add none — so treat 20% as a ceiling. The localization method and named, dated sources are on the methodology page.
