How we price this in Malaysia

Malaysia national base ranges come from named Malaysian cost-guide and parts sources. We localize them with DOSM regional wage relatives (there is no Malaysian equivalent of the U.S. Regional Price Parity, so the price and overhead terms stay at the national baseline). Only the labour share varies from state to state, using a general regional wage index, because no official table breaks this occupation down by state. Service tax under the SST regime is 8% (raised from 6% on 1 March 2024) where it applies, but repair firms below the RM500,000 registration threshold charge none — so treat 8% as a ceiling. Prices are in ringgit and never converted from another currency. The localization method and named, dated sources are on the methodology page.
