How do brand and quality tier change the repair cost?
Brand and tier adjust the parts portion only — never labour. Value brands such as Kolin, Hanabishi and Fujidenzo have the cheapest, most widely stocked parts; LG, Samsung, Sharp and Panasonic form the mass-market core, while premium and imported lines (Bosch, Electrolux, Whirlpool, Miele) carry pricier, often OEM-restricted components. Pick a tier for a class-typical estimate, or a specific Philippine brand to override it.

Wall Oven not self-cleaning: what usually causes it? Estimated
-
Self-clean door lock assembly repair
Pro recommended₱1,100–₱3,000
-
Thermostat / control board repair for clean cycle
Pro recommended₱1,600–₱4,500
If the lock is fine, a failed high-temperature thermostat or the control board that governs the clean cycle is the cause. This is a higher-cost repair, with labour added to the local roughly ₱900 minimum charge (JuanTambayan).

How much is a service-call fee for wall oven repair?
Most Philippine companies charge a call-out / diagnostic fee of ₱200–₱500, often credited toward the repair if you go ahead. It is separate from the repair totals above. VAT (12%) may or may not be included: many small repair shops and sole proprietors are non-VAT (they fall below the ₱3,000,000 annual-sales VAT threshold and pay the 3% percentage tax instead) and charge no VAT — so treat 12% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.
Is it worth repairing a wall oven, or should you replace it?
A common rule of thumb: if the repair cost exceeds roughly half the price of a comparable new unit — or the appliance is past ~8 years for a wall oven — replacement is often the better value. The calculator's localized totals give you the number to weigh against a new-unit quote.
Prices are region-level estimates based on regional wage data (PSA, 2024), not fake city precision. See the methodology for the localization method and named sources, or return to the the Philippines appliance repair guide.
