How do brand and quality tier change the repair cost?

Brand and tier adjust the parts portion only — never labour. Value brands such as Beko, Candy and Hisense have the cheapest, most widely available parts; Polish-founded Amica plus Whirlpool, Indesit and Electrolux/Zanussi form the mass-market core, while premium and luxury lines (Bosch, Siemens, AEG, Samsung, LG, Miele) carry pricier, often brand-specific components. How much is a service-call fee for wall oven repair?

Most Polish companies charge a call-out / diagnostic fee of 100–130 zł, often credited toward the repair if you go ahead. It is separate from the repair totals above. Poland's standard 23% VAT applies to appliance-repair services and parts. Many small repair businesses and tradespeople use the VAT subjective exemption (Article 113 of the VAT Act, up to PLN 200,000 annual turnover) and charge no VAT — so treat 23% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.

Is it worth repairing a wall oven, or should you replace it?

A common rule of thumb: if the repair cost exceeds roughly half the price of a comparable new unit — or the appliance is past ~8 years for a wall oven — replacement is often the better value. The calculator's localized totals give you the number to weigh against a new-unit quote.

Prices are voivodeship (województwo)-level estimates based on average-wage data by voivodeship (GUS, 2024), not fake city precision. Shopping in the U.S.? See the U.S. version (USD). In Canada?
