What is the typical fee?
The national range is 980–1 960 kr. The fee usually covers travel and diagnosis; many companies credit it against the repair if you proceed — always ask before booking. VAT (moms, 25%) may or may not be included: many small repair firms and sole traders fall under Sweden's small-business VAT exemption (turnover under SEK 120,000 per year, since 2025) and charge no VAT — so treat 25% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on. Eligible households can further cut the labour cost through the ROT deduction (a tax reduction of 30% of the labour cost, up to an annual cap per person).
