How much is a service-call fee for dryer repair?
Most Swiss companies charge a call-out / diagnostic fee of CHF 90–CHF 190, often credited toward the repair if you go ahead. It is separate from the repair totals above. VAT (standard rate 8.1% since 1 January 2024) may or may not be included: many small repair firms and sole traders fall under the CHF 100,000 turnover threshold and are not VAT-registered, so they add no VAT — treat 8.1% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.
