The national range is €30–€70. The fee usually covers travel and diagnosis; many companies credit it against the repair if you proceed — always ask before booking. Standard VAT (IVA) of 22% applies to standalone appliance-repair services in Italy (DPR 633/1972); a reduced 10% rate can apply when the repair counts as ordinary/extraordinary home maintenance (Law 488/1999 art. 7), subject to the 'beni significativi' cap on high-value spare parts. Many small sole-trader artisans use the flat-rate scheme (regime forfettario, turnover threshold €85,000) and charge no VAT — so treat 22% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.
