Common Rheem problems

Is Rheem expensive to repair?
Rheem is a mainstream brand with broad North American distribution and a wide product footprint spanning heating, cooling, hydronic boilers and water heating. It shares platforms and model numbering with Ruud, which effectively doubles the service base for a given design. Its faults track the general class rather than any brand-specific weakness. Parts are widely stocked through Rheem/Ruud distribution and through independent suppliers, with good generic coverage on electrical wear items.
