The national range is ₱200–₱1,500. The fee usually covers travel and diagnosis; many companies credit it against the repair if you proceed — always ask before booking. VAT (12%) may or may not be included: many small repair shops and sole proprietors are non-VAT (they fall below the ₱3,000,000 annual-sales VAT threshold and pay the 3% percentage tax instead) and charge no VAT — so treat 12% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.
