What changes an Elco repair bill
- Brand tier — Elco is a burner brand fitted in Belgium to oil and gas boilers from a wide range of manufacturers. At a Belgian supplier its oil pumps cost EUR 235.48 to EUR 409.02 incl. VAT, with EUR 312.72 as the mid-point: as with Weishaupt, about half as much again as a comparable Riello pump (EUR 214.73), but still below the EUR 396.76 of the reference board. Beyond that, a high-limit thermostat costs EUR 169.79, a flue-gas temperature monitor EUR 127.32 or EUR 220.17, a flow sensor EUR 83.61 and an add-on module EUR 252.29. Basket-derived and floor-clamped, same treatment as Riello, Oertli and Weishaupt. Four observed oil pumps incl btw: EUR 235.48, 242.25, 383.18, 409.02; median EUR 312.72. Cross-class against the boiler baseline: 312.72 / 396.76 = 0.788, below the 0.85 floor, so clamped up to 0.85 with the raw reading printed. Within the burner class: 312.72 / Riello pump median 214.73 = 1.456, stated in prose only, for the same reason given under Weishaupt. The Elco maximaalthermostaat (EUR 169.79) is the standing comparator used for De Dietrich's maximaalthermostaten. No Elco boiler control board was observed. Caldaria applies per-product discounts, so the pump median is a lower bound.
