What changes a Weishaupt repair bill
- Brand tier — Weishaupt is the premium brand among burners and in Belgium is often found on heavier oil and gas installations. At a Belgian supplier its oil-burner pumps cost EUR 187.73 to EUR 426.89 incl. VAT, with EUR 312.54 as the mid-point: about half as much again as the comparable Riello pumps at the same supplier (mid-point EUR 214.73), but still below the EUR 396.76 of the reference board. Sensors and controllers stay modest: a temperature controller costs EUR 127.69, a temperature sensor EUR 87.66, a flue-gas sensor EUR 41.58 and a flow-temperature sensor EUR 34.21. Basket-derived and floor-clamped, exactly like the other three burner brands. Four observed oil-burner pumps incl btw: EUR 187.73, 251.55, 373.53, 426.89; median EUR 312.54. Cross-class against the boiler baseline: 312.54 / 396.76 = 0.788, below the 0.85 floor, so clamped up to 0.85 with the raw reading printed. Within the burner class the same shop separates the brands clearly - 312.54 / Riello pump median 214.73 = 1.456 - but that difference is stated in prose only: the index measures cost against the gas-boiler baseline, and on that measure both brands land on the floor. This is a limitation of the index, not a claim that a Weishaupt and a Riello pump cost the same. No Weishaupt boiler board exists to compare; the brand sells burners and heat pumps rather than wall-hung combis. Caldaria applies per-product discounts, so the pump median is a lower bound.
