How we price this in Denmark

Denmark national base ranges come from named Danish cost-guide, service-company and parts sources for heating, cooling and ventilation — never FX-converted from another currency. We localize them with Danmarks Statistik Lønstatistik 2024 regional wage relatives (there is no Danish equivalent of the U.S. Regional Price Parity, and no Denmark-wide occupation-specific wage table for the trade, so the general regional wage relative stands in as the local labour-cost proxy). VAT (moms) is a single 25% rate nationwide with no reduced rates, but very small traders below the DKK 50,000 registration threshold charge none — so treat 25% as a ceiling. All gas work is reserved by law to an authorised VVS installer under Sikkerhedsstyrelsen's rules, and work on the refrigerant circuit requires an f-gas refrigeration certificate, which is why gas-boiler and heat-pump repairs carry high labour shares. Two honest limits for Denmark: about two thirds of Danish homes are heated by fjernvarme (district heating), where there is no consumer market for repairing your own boiler, so district heating is not priced here; and the American ducted gas warm-air furnace effectively does not exist in Danish homes — the gas heat source Danish homeowners actually have is the naturgasfyr (gas boiler). Prices are in Danish kroner. The full formula, weights, clamp, and source vintages are on the methodology page.
