Is Haier expensive to repair?
Haier is a very high-volume Chinese manufacturer (Haier Smart Home, Qingdao) selling inverter splits, multi-splits and ducted systems, positioned in the value-to-mainstream tier in most markets. Its repair profile is the standard inverter one, with electronics dominating. It does not make gas furnaces or boilers. Genuine parts are distributed through Haier's regional service networks and refrigeration wholesalers, with availability varying more by market than for the long-established Japanese brands. Boards and sensors are genuine-channel items. Universal components such as capacitors and some fan motors have standard trade equivalents.
