- Brand tier — In the Netherlands Bosch is the brand name on the central-heating boilers of the HRS and HRC series and on the Compress heat pumps; many Dutch boilers from the same group carry the name Nefit. At a Dutch spare-parts webshop the burner control unit for a Bosch boiler costs EUR 185.00 including VAT, virtually the same as the roughly EUR 188 of the benchmark brand. The fans cost EUR 72.60 to EUR 170.01, with EUR 170.00 as the most common price, a little above the EUR 90 to EUR 156 of the benchmark brand. That places Bosch just above the benchmark. This figure is about the parts of the gas boiler: no price for a circuit board for a Compress heat pump was found for the Netherlands. Work on the burner control unit of a gas-fired appliance may only be done by a company holding a valid CO-vrijcertificaat (Dutch carbon-monoxide safety certification).
