What changes a Remeha repair bill
- Brand tier — Remeha, from Apeldoorn, is one of the brands Dutch spare-parts webshops keep in stock as standard. The control board for the widely used Avanta and Calenta costs around EUR 151 to EUR 154 including VAT, so slightly below the benchmark of roughly EUR 188. For the heavier Quinta and Selecta appliances the same kind of board runs up to about EUR 254. At the bottom and at the top of the range Remeha therefore sits just below and just above that benchmark, and that is exactly why the brand is placed at the middle level.
- Parts vs labour — the brand and tier shift the parts price; labour tracks your area's wage index, not the brand.
- The specific fault — a sensor, seal, or valve is far cheaper than a compressor, motor, or control board.
- DIY vs professional — Some Remeha faults (filters, seals, hoses) are DIY-feasible for confident owners; sealed-system and control-board work is a professional job.
