What is the typical fee?
The national range is kr 900–kr 2 500. The fee usually covers travel and diagnosis; many companies credit it against the repair if you proceed — always ask before booking. VAT (MVA, 25%) may or may not be included: Norway has no reduced VAT rate for repairs, but small firms and sole traders with under NOK 50,000 in annual turnover are not VAT-registered and add no VAT — so treat 25% as a ceiling, not a guaranteed add-on.
