Fujitsu HVAC Repair Cost (Brazil, 2026)
Estimates reviewed August 2026 · appliance-repair figures maintained by a licensed appliance technician.
Fujitsu HVAC repairs typically run R$80–R$3.500, depending on the HVAC system, the problem, and your local labour costs. Fujitsu is a premium brand — its parts run pricier than mainstream brands, so the parts side of a repair sits above the class average. Every figure is an Estimated range in reais, never a fake precise number. Reviewed August 2026.

What changes a Fujitsu repair bill
- Brand tier — Fujitsu sells into Brazil as a Japanese premium brand and its replacement parts are expensive. The evaporator control board is listed at R$ 1,029.00, more than double the reference. (US repair data; local prices differ) On the condenser side the same shop lists twelve different boards between R$ 465.00 and R$ 1,620.00, with a median near R$ 969.50. Smaller items are cheaper -- the evaporator signal board is R$ 140.00 -- but the part that usually fails is the dear one. Raw ratio 2.50 against the R$ 412.00 anchor, capped at 1.4.
- Parts vs labour — the brand and tier shift the parts price; labour tracks your area's wage index, not the brand.
- The specific fault — a sensor, seal, or valve is far cheaper than a compressor, motor, or control board.
- DIY vs professional — Most Fujitsu repairs are a professional job — this brand's parts and diagnostics usually need a qualified technician.

Common Fujitsu problems
Fujitsu split and ducted systems typically report faults as an error code or flashing indicator, most often resolving to a thermistor/sensor, the indoor or outdoor PCB, or the outdoor inverter and fan motor. Indoor units develop drain blockages and blower-wheel fouling that present as water dripping or musty airflow. Refrigerant leaks at flare joints are a class-wide issue driven more by installation workmanship than by the equipment.
Is Fujitsu expensive to repair?
Fujitsu General is a major Japanese split-system and ducted manufacturer with a strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and North America. It is regarded as a mainstream-to-upper-mainstream brand with a conventional inverter fault profile. It does not make gas furnaces or boilers. Genuine boards, sensors and inverter components come through Fujitsu General distribution and refrigeration wholesalers, with good availability in markets where its installed base is large. Generic substitution is limited on electronics but available for some fan motors and capacitors. Older-model boards can require ordering.
