Brand and tier adjust the parts portion only — never labour. On parts, the brand differences that actually show up in Italy are on the control boards. The lowest prices observed at Italian spares retailers belong to Immergas, Biasi and Savio, Unical, Baxi, Vaillant and Bosch (Junkers); Beretta and Riello, which share the same electronics, are the reference line for the table; above the reference sit Ariston, Ferroli, Hermann Saunier Duval, Sime and, highest of all, Chaffoteaux. On air conditioning the only published Italian price that could be verified is the LG board: for Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic, still the priciest brands for parts, the figure shown is their band median.
