These are Colombia base ranges for air conditioning, ventilation and heating from Colombian (peso) sources, localized with income differences between departments (DANE, GEIH — Departmental Monetary Poverty 2024; no occupation-by-department wage table exists, so departmental per-capita income is used as the best official proxy). How we price this in Colombia

Colombia national base ranges come from named Colombian air-conditioning, ventilation and heating sources (cost guides and service pages), in Colombian pesos and never converted from another currency. We localize them with DANE's income relatives between departments (Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares — GEIH, Departmental Monetary Poverty 2024). Colombia has no occupation-specific wage table (refrigeration and air-conditioning technician) broken out by department, so we use departmental per-capita income as the best available official proxy for regional labour-cost differences; the minimum wage is national and does not vary by region. There is also no Colombian equivalent of the U.S. Regional Price Parities, so the price and overhead terms stay at the national baseline. The general VAT is 19% nationwide, though small "no responsables del IVA" providers charge none — treat 19% as a ceiling. Electrical work follows the RETIE technical code and internal gas installations require technicians certified in labour competencies, with mandatory periodic inspection, which raises the labour share on gas repairs and on work touching the refrigerant circuit. The full formula, weights, clamp, and source vintages are on the methodology page.
