Brand and tier adjust the parts portion only — never labour. Value brands such as Defy, KIC, Univa and Hisense — several of them locally manufactured — have the cheapest, most widely stocked parts; Samsung, LG and Whirlpool form the mass-market core, while premium and luxury lines (Bosch, AEG, Smeg, Miele) carry pricier, often imported OEM components.
